Tab Trade - What Traders Should Know

Tab Trade — What It Is

Tab Trade launched in Q1 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.

His background is relevant. It means the leadership has actually done this before. That is not a guarantee. But more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.

The broker opened with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities institutional desks use. The typical new launch leads with marketing and bonuses. These guys did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.

The instrument list: FX, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, shares, crypto, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker this new, that range is solid.

The Software

You get: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Two major platforms from the same login. Many pick one platform. Getting both makes a difference. Use whichever you prefer.

MT5 is the default. Full charting, EAs, huge user base. If you have traded on MT4 or MT5 before, it is familiar territory.

cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. Smoother chart interaction. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders find it more natural after using both.

Direct FIX connectivity is there for bots but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is said to be on the roadmap. That should be a good addition when it arrives.

Accounts and Pricing

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. No commission. Simple. $0 to start. Good for people who want simple pricing.

Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the raw spread is often under 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost can be under half a pip. That is good for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. Tab Trade does not.

VIP account. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, negotiated fees. Not relevant to typical accounts. Skip it unless you run serious volume.

Execution Speed

The execution is the area where Tab Trade actually does something different. Equinix servers in London. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers run 100ms to 300ms.

Does it matter? If you trade small timeframes, yes. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you trade higher timeframes, you will not notice. The point is the infrastructure is there. That is what kind of broker this is.

Put together that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and what you get makes sense. Not many platforms in this bracket offer execution like this.

Safety

Here is the thing that requires honesty. Tab Trade is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation makes you uncomfortable, this broker is not for you. Plenty of tier-1 alternatives out there.

But. Benjamin Boulter built his career at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The server placement costs real money. Dodgy operations do not pay for Equinix connectivity. That does not make it safe. But inform your decision.

The trade-off: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether the trade-off works comes down to your priorities.

The Bonus

Tab Trade runs a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Standard sign-up bonus. You put money in, they add bonus funds. The normal fine print: turnover conditions before you can withdraw the bonus. Review the fine print before you deposit.
